Victoria Dundas of MSN Homes’ design vision was to create a captivating display kitchen that will catch and hold the attention of a perspective buyer. This space is to inspire and showcase the latest trends in kitchen design whilst presenting a space that is functional, organised, and easy to navigate. At first your eye is drawn to the centrepiece which is the Corian® curved island bench but then you start to explore all the other elegant features like the profile in the doors, glass front cabinets, integrated appliances.

“This project did not come without its difficulties. In my original specification I have nominated composite stone to be used for the curved waterfall end however stone masons turned away the work as it was too timely and involved. My mind raced straight away to the one product that I knew has the best reputation on the market as a fully mouldable surface – Corian®. Luckily, Corian® came onboard even though the project was already onsite and with the help of an excellent product representative at CASF and the experienced team at Multiform Joinery my vision has come to life. Exceeding any result that could have been achieved with any other product, the Corian® solid surface island bench turned out to be the absolute feature of the whole project.” said Victoria Dundas.

“I loved finding out more about the fabrication process involved with making mouldable benchtop surfaces out of Corian®. It fascinated me to see how well the product could be joined onsite out of multiple pieces to form a statement piece island bench. The introduction of the wireless charging pad is perhaps one of the coolest things I have come across in the industry and will be a real hit with perspective buyers.” Adds Victoria.

This kitchen boasts opulence in its elegant finishes like the Corian® River Pearl curved island bench, glass front cabinets with LED lights and brushed brass accents on the tapware and door furniture. The subtle vertical profile in the vinyl doors draws your eye upward to appreciate the 2400 high cabinets and onwards to the vaulted ceilings. The functionality of this space would delight any home chef enthusiast. The abundance of drawers along with stacked pantries in the main kitchen offer no lack of storage for everything you need on -hand while the double integrated fridges deliver uninterrupted aesthetics. The island bench features huge benchtop prep space and an incorporated sink whilst the main clean up area with large sink and dishwasher is tucked away in the adjacent butler’s pantry making entertaining a breeze.
