Lovey Patisserie
The brief was unique, a palette dominated by white and pink that gives off a sleek & modern vibe. What made this an interesting project was to incorporate retail sections that features collectable items such as Bear Bricks, Takashi Murakami’s pop art, KAWS figurative vinyl toys and many more. The intention was to create an overarching design that creates a calming, soothing and light-filled space to contrast the rawness of these collectable items.
Starting with different white walls, floors & joineries finishes and to assimilate the colour pink in bold ways, such as on built-ins, trim work & ceiling. Layers of metallic pink are seen throughout the interior design. Beyond the entrance is one feature product area. Standing proud, a distinctive 3.7m high feature Bear Brick shelves with curved white steel backing.
Given the design brief & colour palette, Axe Architects had the opportunity to use Corian® Carrara Crema as not only it’s white & grey veins finishes compliment the design as a whole but it’s formability to create seamless curves that embraces the corner allowing for the overall design intent to be achieved.

Lovey Patisserie showcases collectables that are worth more than most cars. The first bear brick stores in the whole of Australia. Bear brick is very big generally in the Asian market such as Hong Kong , Singapore and many others.
