Reaper Project, Templestowe
Corian® was used in the kitchen transformation of a stand-alone home in Templestowe, Victoria.
Undertaken by Bubbles Bathrooms, the project required the kitchen and dining area to be redesigned into a uniquely elegant, practical space without losing storage or overall performance.
In the hub of the home for family and guests, the client enjoys cooking and entertaining, however the original kitchen design was poorly lit, had an inefficient layout and a benchtop with defined joins making it a potential cleaning issue.
Bubbles Bathrooms wanted to create a hygienic, functional, yet contemporary kitchen and entertaining area for the client. Using Corian® for the kitchen benchtops, splashbacks and custom range hood, meant the designers could achieve a seamless and fluid design throughout, while also providing a hygienic solution.
With the flexibility of Corian®, Glacier White was used to create the kitchen benchtops, as well as a custom ceiling mounted range hood, that was also wrapped seamlessly in Glacier White. Sitting prominently in the kitchen the design was complemented with abstract circles, making the range hood a focal point for the space.
To add contrast to the design, Corian® Deep Nocturne was used for the splashbacks and breakfast bar, creating a sleek minimal style, practical and hygienic finish
