Once a mediocre L – shaped timber-looking laminate kitchen, has through the application of this clever material, evolved into a space of beauty and substance providing more storage, an island and outdoor access.

The real beauty: Corian® minimises germ collection and is miraculously easy to clean with a damp cloth and water.

Corian® was chosen for this project because Dune Prima instantly warmed, complemented and up-specked the client’s desire for a modern take on relaxed beachside entertaining.

The light tones welcomed more natural light already created by the triple stacker doors to the deck area. Dune Prima looks substantial yet was light enough to allow for easy fitting and manoeuvre of the movable island bench.

Dune Prima’s unique durability means, in the unlikely event it is damaged it can easily be restored to it’s original condition. Corian® has proved itself to be a remarkably durable material that is easy to live with. It cannot delaminate and stands up well to daily wear and tear. Corian® resists majority of impacts, nicks and cuts that occur in heavy traffic areas and has been tested for its mechanical, thermal, electrical and other surface properties. Every inch of storage space has been accessed despite the kitchen being quite small.

Corian® Dune Prima ties in the surface areas of worktops, Belfast sink surrounds and is even used in a mobile island. Virtually maintenance free Corian® bench tops complete an ethereal look.

Difficult maintenance and dirty looking fingerprints on stainless steel or wood cabinets are not an issue; hardly anything is visible on benchtops and surfaces made of Corian®.

Pieces of Corian® can be glued together inconspicuously to create a seamless look, giving virtually unlimited design possibilities for surfaces.
