Bright Food Global Workplace Design
Inspired by the American whiskey bars, this project incorporated materials and finishes that gave the whole space a unique industrial feel, aligned with client’s project brief. One of the main project aims laid out by Bright Food Global was to design a creative back and front house where each section is greeted with diverse and gleaming materials, establishing that rusty and polished look. The creative kitchen design, custom-designed by CREO Design Group, featured a captivating wine rack with an illuminating shelving for whiskey and wine bottles. The CREO Design Group team cantilevered the kitchen island bench, with touches of gold for the island support and skirting throughout the joinery items.
Corian® Basalt Terrazzo was chosen for this project to provide a point of difference and a contrast to the materials selected for the main kitchen and general overall feel. We wanted to give the kitchen island a raw and natural feel.
The design of the Corian® kitchen island bench was cantilevered and tapered towards the curved end to provide a floating aspect to the island. It was supported by a cylindrical gold plinth picking up on the finer details brought through the entire office space.
Corian® gave the overall design not only a point of difference but its own identity to stand out and fulfill the brief of providing and raw and industrial feel to the space.
