Ambience Wellness
Ambience Wellness is a tranquil massage sanctuary nestled within a bustling mall, meticulously designed to offer an escape from the outside world. The space is inspired by the principles of earth, fire, and water, creating an environment that fosters self-connection, balance, and healing. Sculpted elements resembling natural stone contribute to the soothing atmosphere, making visitors feel as though they have stepped into a serene retreat.
Corian® Artista Canvas was the material of choice for the centrepiece of Ambience Wellness: the striking reception desk. This selection seamlessly complements the earthy tones of the interior while enabling the construction of a sleek, curved counter. The elimination of sharp edges through solid surface’s flowing design enhances both the aesthetic appeal and practicality of the reception area. In addition to its visual harmony with the curved, rendered walls, Corian® was also chosen for the vanity benchtops in the treatment rooms due to its superior hygiene properties. Artista Canvas, with its distinctive movement and pattern, blends effortlessly into the organic design of the space, reinforcing the natural theme of the environment.
The completed project highlights the versatility of Corian® in achieving a sophisticated yet welcoming aesthetic. The reception counter, crafted from Artista Canvas, features a seamlessly integrated top and front, ensuring a cohesive appearance. Extending beyond a typical desk, the design incorporates a dedicated oil testing station, allowing guests to engage with the wellness experience before even entering the treatment rooms. This thoughtful integration of function and form showcases the adaptability of Corian®, reinforcing its role as a premium material choice for innovative interior spaces.
This project stands out for its meticulous attention to detail and commitment to enhancing the user experience. The flowing curves and organic aesthetic of Corian® contribute to a space that is both visually calming and functionally efficient. The design ensures a welcoming and intuitive experience for visitors while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and durability.
