JLL, Perth Office

When global leader JLL were relocating their Perth office, they had  a clear focus on wellness, innovation and technology at the forefront of mind. The goal was to set a new standard base building construction and finishes including  WELL Gold and 5-Star Green Star ratings.

As part of the design considerations, the JLL Design team (in house) wanted to create an office space that embraces a coworking style to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation to maximise enjoyment and sense of purpose for both employees and clients alike. The reception and café areas help to develop a sense of community that brings people together.

The materials were carefully selected to ensure they had a low environmental impact and low in VOCs. This was to provide a comfortable environment that enhances staff wellbeing as well as being sustainable.  Corian® not only assists to achieve this goal, but was also chosen for it’s high quality, seamless curved application.  Corian® Limestone Prima was selected for it’s elegant grains and was used throughout the reception area and café including the smart integrated coffee machine which is powered by mobile app with voice recognition.

Corian® is non-porous which has been used to full effect at JLL not only for the ease of maintenance and hygienic properties but also to create an integrated planter, bringing nature inside the office space.

“We take pride in how our new office fosters wellbeing for our team and that elements such as energy efficiency, sustainability, facilities and materials all strictly follow stringent environmental and wellbeing standards,” says John Williams, managing director, JLL WA.

JLL is also aspiring to become one of the first CBD offices in Perth to obtain a WELL Gold certification.
