Estia Health, St Ives, integrates Corian® Solid Surface into its design, ensuring safety, hygiene, and aesthetic harmony across key living areas.
- Accessible Bathroom Vanities
The facility’s bathrooms feature vanities crafted with Corian® Limestone Prima or Corian® Linen surfaces, paired with Glacier White basins. These include the 8520, a rectangular basin with rounded corners, and the 810, featuring fully rounded basins, which are incorporated into the facility’s double vanity designs. Both options are ergonomically designed to enhance safety and usability.
To support accessibility, the vanities feature open space underneath, allowing easy access for residents using wheelchairs or mobility aids. The dual-colour contrast between the basins and vanities provides a visual aid for residents with impaired vision, improving depth perception and usability. Seamless integration eliminates joints where bacteria can accumulate, ensuring hygiene while maintaining a sleek aesthetic.
- Wall-Integrated Nook Tables
In residents’ private rooms, Corian® is used for wall-mounted nook tables, eliminating legs and corners for enhanced safety and accessibility. These tables provide a functional space for activities like reading or writing while maintaining a modern, clutter-free appearance. - Durable Kitchenette Surfaces
In select rooms, Corian® Witch Hazel benchtops are featured in kitchenettes, offering a hygienic, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and resistant to wear. The material’s elegant finish complements the facility’s contemporary interior design.
