Cosmos Prima Kitchen
This thoughtfully designed kitchen showcases the perfect fusion of form and function, with a standout island at its heart. Crafted to meet the needs of contemporary living, the kitchen combines bold aesthetics with clever utility, creating a space that is as practical as it is beautiful. The project features Corian® Solid Surface in the rich and dynamic Cosmos Prima, used throughout the benchtops and splashback to deliver a sophisticated, seamless finish with high-performance benefits.
The hero of the space is a uniquely designed kitchen island that redefines traditional expectations. One corner of the island is recessed to accommodate a built-in seating nook — ideal for casual dining, morning coffee, or a chat while meals are being prepared.
Adjacent to the seating zone, a built-in storage unit is cleverly integrated within the island cabinetry. Featuring a glass-front display with internal lighting, this space doubles as an elegant visual feature and a practical storage solution. It can be used to showcase glassware, house a small bar fridge, or store frequently used items within easy reach, all while contributing to the ambient mood of the kitchen.
The remaining kitchen surfaces are finished in the same colour Corian® Cosmos Prima, a dramatic dark surface with dynamic veining that creates a sense of depth and texture. Known for its durability and non-porous qualities, Corian® provides a hygienic, low-maintenance solution that is perfect for busy households. The kitchen benchtop boast integrated drainer grooves that flow into the Corian clad sink to add convenience and reinforce the seamless look, removing the need for traditional drying racks. A gunmetal Axix sink adds a modern, industrial touch that contrasts beautifully with the moody swirls of Cosmos Prima. The under-mounted design allows for a clean, uninterrupted surface line, while the splashback in matching Corian® completes the cohesive aesthetic and provides easy-to-clean functionality behind the sink and cooktop areas.
