The design of this unique jug is based on the Golden section. Golden ratio, golden cut or divine section (Lat. Sectio divina) is an irrational number with many intriguing features. Geometric shapes derived from this number are deemed aesthetically very attractive. The design is enriched with graphical elements to disturb the purity of shape. Therefore the graphics are intentionally deformed at its edges, stressing the morphology of the jug while abolishing the minimalist shape principles. The applied graphics were inspired by Slavic motifs, specifically the region where the designer comes from. A modern stylisation of folk elements used in region of Moravia and Slovakia corresponds with traditional colours in all variations.
