Corian® also offered a wild selection of bold colours that was key to its selection as the clients wanted the new bathroom to contrast with the rest of the heritage fabric within the Paddington Terrace. Corian® also appealed to the clients as it is environmentally responsible & all items in the home had to be toxic free & baby safe.

The original bathroom was an out of date 1960’s bathroom. It was extremely small, ugly, dirty with no mirrors, and a small basin. The bathroom is a key room to any young family – the clients have an eight month year old daughter & two year old son. The bathroom is used continuously & is always wet. The bathroom had to be easy to clean, hygienic, baby friendly meaning the basin was designed as a baby bath & the bath tub could be used for the other child to bath at the same time. The bathroom had to be hard wearing & low maintenance, Corian® was the first choice. The clients wanted a seamless appearance (no grout).

Corian® offered the best solution with everything the clients wanted including: seamless walls, thermoformed custom bath, custom thermoformed sink & cladding to vanity unit. Hardwearing & waterproof. All the items could be manufactured off site & installed in two days, the ultimate turn around for the client!
