Redimed – ANZAC House: Providing Exceptional Care to Veterans in Central Perth
In the heart of Central Perth, the distinguished ANZAC House now houses RediMed, an allied health provider committed to delivering comprehensive services to veterans. Led by designer Sofia Morais, the project sought to create a dedicated space on a full floor within the new ANZAC building, catering to the unique needs of veterans seeking medical support. This endeavor demanded careful consideration and a design solution that would seamlessly integrate functionality, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal. The selection of Corian® emerged as the ideal choice, offering a range of properties perfectly suited for medical environments, including its antimicrobial attributes, seamless joins, and endless creative possibilities.
Corian® played a pivotal role in the success of this project, primarily due to its remarkable features that align with the medical undertone of allied health services. The material’s antimicrobial properties ensure a safe and hygienic environment for veterans seeking care. The seamless joins achieved with Corian® allowed for a clean and cohesive aesthetic, instilling a sense of professionalism and trust. The ability to exercise creativity with the material further enhanced the design, enabling the team to add soft curves to cabinet corners, imparting a gentle touch and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
