iCare Sydney Office

Spanning five levels, the iCare office in Sydney exemplifies architectural excellence and innovative workspace design. Aspen Commercial Interiors, in collaboration with Shape Group Australia, executed intricate joinery throughout the space, incorporating Corian® to create a seamless and modern aesthetic. The project features a curved Corian® Solid Surface reception desk and a striking breakout kitchenette, all designed with Corian® Pearl* and Natural Grey and expertly fabricated by SCF fabricators.

The design highlights advanced thermoforming techniques that allowed our material to be shaped into flowing, organic curves, resulting in a visually dynamic and ergonomic environment.

The project’s designer commented, “Corian® is the only material that can create the forms required for this project, while also being sufficiently robust and hygienic. The soft touch and smooth finish provides great contrast with the surrounding natural timbers and ceramic tiles. Specifying Corian®, in particular with the network of fabricators, gave us certainty that we could achieve the required standard of finish.”

Aspen’s craftsmanship is evident in several key features, including the curved timber veneer cladding, the hand-polished veneer dot wall, and the expansive collaboration pod at the heart of the office. The collaboration pod features curved pin boards and timber veneer paneling, while hundreds of precisely cut pin-board and whiteboard panels were installed across breakout areas, meeting rooms, training rooms, and other collaborative spaces.

As a trusted provider of insurance and workplace safety services for government agencies and businesses across New South Wales, iCare sought an office that reflected its core values of innovation, reliability, and well-being. Corian® proved to be the ideal material, offering hygienic, durable, and low-maintenance surfaces for high-traffic areas. The integration of Corian® underscores iCare’s commitment to creating a functional and refined office environment that supports both employees and clients.
