Process Updates, Customer Support and Healthcare Design with Willis
Each year, CASF runs a five-day international conference for qualified fabricators, with the itinerary organised entirely by CASF. This year, we took our fabricators to Toronto, Canada, where one of those five days was a half day conference on 9th September, bringing fabricators and industry partners together for a program covering where CASF is heading next, followed by a look at how Corian® is being used in the healthcare sector overseas.
CASF Updates: Listening to Our Fabricators
The first part of the conference was hosted by the CASF team, updating fabricators and guests on changes we’ll be implementing across our processes and explaining how we support our customers day to day. The session covered:
- Voice of Customer — how feedback from fabricators is shaping the changes we’re making across the business
- Process improvements — updates to how CASF operates, aimed at making things easier and more efficient for our fabricator network
- Project and product solutions — how CASF continues to support our customers not just with supplying materials but with solutions tailored to their projects and the products behind them
- Sales support — a look at what our sales team does day to day in the market to help generate leads and support fabricators on the ground
It was an opportunity for fabricators to hear directly from CASF on what’s changing and why, and to understand the thinking behind the improvements coming their way.
Healthcare Design in Focus, with Willis
We were also joined by our North American counterparts, Willis, for a panel exploring the role of Corian® in the healthcare sector. The panel featured:
- Jennifer Huynh — Healthcare Architect, OAA Architect, EDAC, WELL AP, DIALOG
- Spencer Stewart — Vice President of Operations, Steel City Millwork
- Al Love — Operations Manager / Chief Estimator, Steel City Millwork

The panellists spoke about how Corian® has been implemented in the healthcare industry in their market — from wall protection systems and the design decisions architects weigh up early in a project, to the practical realities millworkers navigate in fabrication and installation.
It was a valuable opportunity for our fabricators to hear directly from an international market where healthcare design is a major growth category, and to compare notes on the hygiene, durability and design considerations shaping the sector both here and abroad.
