J.T.M Residence

This residential project was a complete internal renovation for a family of 6, including 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The brief was a calm and serene environment. The finishes are light and airy creating a neutral palette, of which Corian® features in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Corian® was chosen as it is durable and has opportunities to curve and mould into various shapes. Emma and the team found Corian to be very easy and forgiving to work with.

Within the kitchen, Corian® has been used for both benchtops and splashback, creating a seamlessly elegant  and cohesive design.

Corian® can withstand the day-to-day use of a large and busy family as it is low maintenance and very easy to clean.  Stains are never permanent, making Corian® an ideal choice in the kitchen.

In the master ensuite, Emma has created visual interest by designing a curved Corian® vanity that interplays with the curves of the other elements within the space.

The choice of finishes is continued into the main bathroom, where Corian® has also been used for the vanity benchtop with a monolithic square edge profile.

“Corian® is a great product that looks interesting and has potential to go crazy in the application”. said Emma Buchan.
