Home Office
When selecting the material to use in a home office in Sydney, designers Best Kitchens wanted a surface material that was durable and could deliver a seamless design finish.
The brief for Best Kitchens, was to provide a seamless and clean look to complement the sleek, minimalist style of the existing home office. Using DuPont™ Corian®, a flawless look could be achieved for the workspace desktop. With its unique joining technique, which glues surfaces together to form a discreet join and a seamless design finish, Best Kitchens could provide their client with a smooth and clean work surface that will stand the test of time.
The design flexibility of Corian® provided Best Kitchens with an easy, hassle-free solution to form the curves needed for the desktop; a task other material would have struggled to achieve.
A remarkably durable material, Corian® is easy to maintain and can withstand daily wear and tear. The material is renewable so any repairs can be fully restored without the need to remove and replace the desk. Corian® is a completely solid material so any colour or texture runs all the way through, eliminating any fading in the design.
