Aristocrat
The Geyer design team worked on Aristocrat’s new head office in Sydney. The new office has two very distinct areas, the typical working floors and the client areas on the ground floor. The single most important space in the entire building for Aristocrat is the showroom – where the products are displayed for customer to view and play.
During the design process, Corian® was the material of choice for the client’s central focal point the bar. Corian® sheeting with a custom design engraved and backlit to create 3-dimensional perspective was installed onsite plus the concealment of the fluorescent tubes to enhance the patterns which comes to life.
With the use of Corian®, Geyer was able to eliminate design issues as junctions between top, front and side are seamless. The different panels blend into one, which provides a clean, bright and functions well in a food and beverage environment.
The ease with which Corian® can be formed into various shapes allows designers to create luminous objects featuring an endless range of surface effects that are anything but superficial.
