Fabricated using seamless joining technology, Corian® Birthing Pools eliminate grout lines and surface crevices that can harbour bacteria. As a solid, non-porous material, the surface supports rigorous infection control protocols — it can be repeatedly cleaned and disinfected without deterioration, reducing cross-contamination risks associated with hospital-acquired infections.
The material’s thermal properties provide a naturally warm surface and help maintain water temperature during immersion, supporting clinical comfort requirements for labouring patients without compromising hygiene performance.

Corian® is warm to the touch and helps maintain water temperature during immersion. The pool holds 700 litres with a flow rate of 35 litres per minute, designed to meet the demands of an active maternity unit.
Yes. The birthing pool can be specified with or without matching Corian® stairs. Specification sheets and 2D PDFs are available for both configurations and can be downloaded under the “Technical Documentation” dropdown menu.
A 50mm plug and waste is available for purchase.
The Corian® birthing pool is a freestanding design. Net weight is approximately 275 kg without stairs and 290 kg with stairs — floor loading, plumbing connections, drain location, and access clearances should be confirmed during the design phase.
