Tokyo Sushi Kiosk
This design concept for had to create high visual impact, yet be durable to withstand the busy shopping complex location. The surfaces had to be easy in maintenance, hygienic in nature and be an approved surface for use in a commercial food environment. Corian® met all these requirements and was utilised for the exterior service benchtops, seating cubes and the lower wall cladding.
Corian® in colour Shale was used for the customer counter top area and lower wall cladding as it is durable against exposure to cooking ingredients, shopping trolleys and prams.
The seating cubes lined around the Sushi Kiosk are in Corian® bright colours Mandarin, Sun and Hot. This creates a highly visual impact. The bright colour selections were also made to suit the corporate identity. Corian® was selected for this design due to its ability to appear new, even after being installed for over a year.
