Sofitel Hotel

Behind the monumental exterior of the hotel, interiors present an ambiance that brings to mind exotic and warm reminiscences, mixed with impressive lighting and ultra-modern touches.  To welcome the lucky guests of the luxury hotel, there is a reception desk realized with thermoformed DuPont™ Corian®.  The seamless techno-surface gives the impression of a monolithic piece from the slightly rounded and enveloping shape.

Casablanca, the heart of the Moroccan economy, today has a new star among the modern architecture that illuminates the city, a luxury hotel that combines French elegance with all the comforts useful for those travelling for business.

The 24-floor hotel Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche overlooks the city.  Opposite the Hassan II mosque and close to the medina, the hotel offers tourists and business people 141 rooms and 30 suites.  Each of them reveals the extreme luxurious interiors together with the maximum convenience, sinuous and rounded shapes, mixed with essential colours that give a special atmosphere between opulence and coziness.

The fascinating architecture is located in the district of Habous, full of shops, cafes and bakeries, inspired by the French allure, sign of the passage of the past protectorate of the city.  The European architecture of the 30s’ has influenced the African metropolis, and it is precisely this style that inspired Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet, designers of the Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche.

The first four floors of the hotel delight guests with deluxe pampering: they include two restaurants, one bar, a spa spanning two floors, in which the techno-surface DuPont™ Corian® is the absolute protagonist.  Here are also located three of the fascinating champagne bar counters with removable cover, which give a hyper technological touch to a room dressed in warm and elegant colours, surrounded by decorated ceilings.

The Hotel’s spa, spearhead of the building, encloses baths, mirrors and furniture completely made of DuPont™ Corian®.  The designers have exploited the hygienic properties of the techno-surface, a non-porous and easy to clean material.  Moreover, DuPont™ Corian®gives an immediate relaxed feeling dictated by the smooth shapes and by the warm touch.  Another precious design element of the spa are the beautiful moucharabieh made in DuPont™ Corian®, a contemporary interpretation of an object traditionally made of wood, that gently hide DVD players and speakers.

The dualism between Moroccan tradition and chic modernism can also be appreciated in every room, in which the white bathroom furniture made with DuPont™ Corian® match with black sumptuous mosaic floors.

All the furnishings made in DuPont™ Corian® have been fabricated by Deborel Maroc, who previously showed the limitless design possibilities offered by this techno-surface in another Moroccan stunning project, the Morocco Mall.
