Wuxi Grand Theatre
Wuxi Grand Theatre, is a landmark building in Wuxi city designed by Suzhou Gold Mentis Jiang Yazhou Design Firm using DuPont™ Corian®. The building made extensive use of the flexibility and durability of Corian® solid surface to create a contemporary atmosphere. Corian® solid surface has been used in the public spaces such as the dome, reception desk, service desk, signage and staircase enclosure.
DuPont™ Corian® is a homologous material that provides warm aesthetics and extraordinary flexibility to realize any designs that a designer can imagine. Mr. Jiang Yazhou created the magnificent dome design using different horizontal and vertical angles and seamless joins. From the reception to stairs, service counter to signs, the extensive use of Corian® Glacier White and Corian® Glacier Ice bring visitors a bright and refreshing atmosphere.
Corian® is the ideal material for commercial spaces. Corian® has unmatched durability and can substantially lower the long term cleaning and maintenance cost including wear and tear in high traffic areas.
Wuxi Grand Theatre exterior design, designed by a renowned Finnish designer Mr. Pekka Salminen, resembles the wings of a butterfly. The building interior design with Corian® is simple, beautiful and elegant. It perfectly presents the essence of a true “Art Gallery” which complements with the Grand Theatre exterior design.
